November in Nicaragua is a great time of year. The much needed rain of the rainy season begins to subside, the skies are bright blue and the Papagayo winds are breezing through Nicaragua making the heat just a bit more bearable. Another tell tale sign of the season is the changing colors of the coffee beans from green to yellow and red. Not quite the same markers of fall as in many places, but they're ours.
As always, we have much to be grateful for. We are thankful for faithful friends, family, and church families who pray for us and support us in our efforts to share Christ and train up Nicaraguan church leaders. We are grateful for how God has allowed us to serve here for nearly 10 years, and has allowed us to see tremendous growth along the way.
Here are just a few requests for this month as we reflect on the many blessings we enjoy:
We wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving as we all take time to celebrate with family and friends the abundant blessings we are given so freely to enjoy.
